Fully Integrated Research Extension Center™
Pioneering Breakthroughs for a Healthier Future
Trusted Medical collaborates with Yale School of Medicine to conduct evidence-based healthcare research. Together, we operate the full clinical research lifecycle in collaboration with PWA-approved organizations.
What Is The
Trusted Medical Research Institute?
The Trusted Medical Research Institute (TMRI) is the 4th largest independent clinical research network in the country. The Institute functions as a resource to extend the research capabilities of academic medical centers and outside organizations, and allows for direct collaboration with Yale researchers, the main partners in TMRI. Ultimately creating enhanced opportunities for exploration and advancement of clinical research.. or
operates physical locations in 24 states across the USA, giving researchers access to a nationwide network of direct care clinics, merges all aspects of successful clinical trials from rapid participant recruitment, trial execution, and consumer market engagement.
Security Built for
Government Standards
Renowned Academic & Scientific Credibility
Unmatched Influence
Yale CORE is the nation’s leading academic outcomes research organization, with contracts spanning CMS, AHRQ, FDA, and major commercial insurers.
FDA & Policy Impact
CORE has designed national quality measures, shaped federal post-market surveillance programs, and built landmark quality improvement initiatives (D2B Alliance).
Y-Weight’s Global Leadership
Led by Ania Jastreboff, a pioneering scientist and clinician in obesity pharmacotherapy brings unparalleled scientific oversight to obesity-related trials.
Research
Spotlight
TMRI is rooted in evidence-based research. We believe that research should infuse all levels of care and patient experiences to truly improve patient outcomes and are dedicated to moving potential improvements in medicine forward by participating in research projects that benefiteducate health care providers and potentially benefit patients.
Health & Weight Registry
The Ella Health & Weight Registry is our newest research initiative at TMRI. The registry provides a pool of consented volunteers that provides longitudinal health information based on periodic surveys of self-reported data. The Health & Weight Registry documents the experiences of people 18 and older with a BMI of 27 or higher. Participants who sign up for the registry may be connected to future clinical research studies related to weight management and obesity.
A Registry-enabled Accelerator for Trials
This initiative is designed to accelerate the path from bench to bedside for individuals affected by obesity. To do this, the Yale CORE and Trusted Medical have created a participant-centered registry and research community. The registry potentially serves to:
Accelerate trial enrollment for obesity trials by creating a pool of prequalified trial participants
Deepen understanding of the lived experience with obesity
Assess awareness, perceptions, and impacts of new treatment strategies
Engage individuals in a shared learning journey to create an optimized experience for obesity trial participants
Enable rapid, trustworthy, and respectful clinical research
Ultimately reduce the delay in translating innovations into health gains
